Whistleblowing
Whistleblowers may report or disclose violations or attempted cover-ups of violations that have occurred or are suspected to have occurred in relation to the following (“Violations”):
A) Crimes and offenses
Related, among other things, to the following behaviors:
- Corruption or influence peddling.;
- Money laundering, financial, tax, and accounting crimes;
- Conflicts of interest;
- Privacy and personal data protection;
- Anticompetitive practices;
- Trade sanctions, embargoes, and export controls;
- Product safety and compliance;
- Public health.;
- Information and Network Security;
- Environmental protection;
- Consumer protection;
- Corporate tax evasion;
- Frode.
B) Threat or prejudice to the public interest
C) Illicit conduct pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001
Illicit conduct and relevant under Legislative Decree 231/2001 or serious violations of the Organizational Model 231 and Code of Ethics of Sorgente Valcimoliana S.r.l. not covered by applicable directive or local laws.
D) Harassment and discrimination
Violation of current laws regarding moral or sexual harassment, discrimination, and workplace violence.
Human Rights
Human rights violations.
Non-retaliation
Violation of the non-retaliation principle.
Who can report and when
Whistleblowers may report violations that have already occurred or when they have a reasonable suspicion that violations are highly likely to occur. Subject to the cases provided for by current national legislation, the Whistleblower must have become aware of such violations within the scope of their professional activity and, in any case, must have had personal knowledge of them.
Whistleblower protection
The whistleblower/reporter is assured the utmost protection, confidentiality, and security from retaliation, unlawful conditioning, distress, and discrimination of any kind for having duly reported a violation in accordance with the EU Directive 2019/1937 and also Legislative Decree 24/2023.
This reporting channel exclusively concerns breaches of the aforementioned regulations. In any case, anonymity is guaranteed as long as the confidentiality of the identity is enforceable by law.
