Acqua Dolomia flows at 833 meters in Val Cimoliana, within the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A protected territory, of great geological interest, rich in a significant faunal heritage and a notable floristic variety, revealing a landscape biodiversity of rare beauty and all the charm of nature.

Uncontaminated from birth

The melting of the deepest layers of snow on the Cima dei Preti mountain group, at 2703 metres, gives rise to pristine water which, slowly filtering through the rock called dolomia, forms an ancient and enormous hydrogeological basin under the mountain.

Continuously flowing within this hydrogeological deposit, the water remains in contact with the rock for many years, where it is enriched with the most precious minerals and oxygen, to then flow at 833 meters, full of life. In the form of Dolomia Water.

The memory of water

Acqua Dolomia was born from the intuition of one of the founding members. Passionate about mountain walking, especially in the areas of Val Cimoliana, he had collected the confidences of the elderly and discovered that among the many springs present in those places, there was one where the cattle returning from the mountain pastures at high altitude preferred to drink. That water, naturally better than it flowed from the source in Gote, then became Acqua Dolomia.

The Friulian Dolomites

The mountain system of the Friulian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009, is a group of mountains in the Carnic Prealps, between the provinces of Belluno, Udine and Pordenone.

Breathtaking views and unexpected scenarios follow one another between peaks and peaks, in a context with a particular rocky conformation and characterized by a high degree of wilderness, in an area of great geological, environmental and naturalistic interest, characterized by the virtual absence of anthropization.

A form of life that is released from perennial snow, after flowing for decades in contact with the rock, from which it drew its name and the most noble components.
