Acqua Dolomia aboard vintage cars departing for the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti 2023

Dolomia water is now officially a Technical Partner of the historic regularity race in the Italian Grand Events Championship by ACI Sport, with Cortina d’Ampezzo as its base camp

A scenario of great prestige awaits the water that flows from the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park. July 2023 marks the birth of a new collaboration between two entities that share an unconditional love for the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the backdrop for the spectacular automotive competition included in the Historic Italian Grand Events Championship calendar, organized by the Automobile Club of Belluno and the Automobile Club of Italy, in collaboration with the Club ACI Storico and ACI Sport.

From July 20 to 23, over 90 vintage vehicles will depart from the headquarters at the Grand Hotel Savoia in Cortina d’Ampezzo, embarking on a journey through a region of rare beauty, tackling the scenic Dolomite Passes of Eastern Veneto and South Tyrol, and venturing into Friuli Venezia Giulia, right where Acqua Dolomia originates.

Stage 1 on July 21 will pass through Cimolais, following the route from Val Cellina to Val Cimoliana, home to the Dolomia production plant and its source nestled at the foot of the mountain. The source of Acqua Dolomia is situated in a deep, wild valley within the Friulian Dolomites Natural Park, surrounded by Dolomite peaks reaching nearly 3,000 meters above sea level. Originating from perpetual snow and filtered through the mountain rock, it rests for decades, absorbing noble minerals and oxygen from the dolomite rock, emerging full of life at 833 meters above sea level.

This is a true return to origins, aboard prestigious vintage cars from 9 different nations: an extraordinary opportunity to appreciate the excellence of Acqua Dolomia, underscored by its Three Gold Stars from the Superior Taste Award bestowed by the International Taste&Quality Institute in Brussels.

<< ‘Knowing our water aboard magnificent vintage cars traversing spectacular landscapes fills us with great pride,’ comments Federico Trost, Managing Director of Sorgente Valcimoliana. ‘From Acqua Dolomia’s participation in the Millemiglia and Coppa Giulietta e Romeo, we have received excellent feedback and great appreciation from the international audience. This is why we have decided to continue these collaborations among excellence, and now we are ready to embark on the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti 2023.’ >>
